More about Workshops and Tuition
I have been offering painting tuition in the form of workshops. I have been teaching almost 30 years and I have been painting even longer than that. Combining these skills, sharing techniques, knowledge and a joy of painting and creativity is what makes me happy. Painting allows you to focus on something different, so it is perfect for those who need some time just for themselves, or to escape the stresses of everyday life.
My workshops are 2 and a half hours long; £40 per person, for 2 and a half hours for up to 4 people; with all materials and refreshments provided. I will be releasing new dates for Spring shortly. At present these workshops take place in my house, which is centrally located in the heart of the historic town of Hexham. I am a few minutes walk from Hexham railway station, the public car parks and the town centre.
I am looking to expand my workshop offer, by using other premises and by offering sessions for community groups. Please contact me at admin@charlottethompsonart.co.uk if you would like to book a session.
I also offer 1-1 tuition in watercolour. Currently I offer £90 for 3 hours. I can tailor tuition to a subject of your choice including landscape, floral, still life and illustration.
Painted Bauble Workshop
Hand paint a set of three ceramic baubles. Learn how to use gouache paint to create beautiful festive imagery. Decorate the baubles and choose ribbon to match. Small group workshops led by artist and teacher Charlotte Thompson. Workshop includes all materials, tuition, tea, coffee and nibbles in Charlotte’s home, in central Hexham.
