Commission me to create a bespoke piece of art. I can create unique art for your home, workspace, office or for a loved one. The commissions I have undertaken are many and varied. It is always a pleasure to work on a commissioned piece of art because it is so personal. I have painted pictures of the view from a house, a wedding photograph, a special place with a fond memory, a reimagined favourite album cover, and an illustrated poem, to name but a few. In my other life, as a school teacher I have worked on some amazing mosaic projects and I have repainted religious statues in the ground of a school. My challenge this year will be to help make the set for a school production. So I can put my hand to many things… just ask me if you are interested.
The Commission Process
I am able to work from photographs, however if a site visit is required, then a further fee of £0.45 per mile will be charged. I will make some initial sketches and check I am understanding your vision of the brief. I will share my ideas with you. If you are happy to proceed I will charge a 25% deposit. I will then make a preparatory painting and share this again and make any note of any alterations required. Finally I will paint the commission and arrange delivery and final payment.
Guide price to fit mount with a double mount included and ready to frame. Bespoke sizes also available on application. Prices include standard UK shipping for mounted paintings. Framing is at extra cost and can be arranged by me or left to your personal taste.
Delivery of framed work will be at extra cost, either using a courier service or if I am able to deliver, at a cost of £0.45 per mile. Click and Collect is available for all commissions.
I request that commission fees will be made via Bank Transfer (Bacs) or PayPal.
Commission prices
These sizes are for the external measurement of the card mount that will frame your picture. They are approximately 2 inches wide, so the picture itself will be smaller.
