Delivery, P&P

Cards, prints and original artwork (mounted and unmounted): free P&P within the UK.

I aim to despatch items within 5 days of ordering.

I use Royal Mail and Parcelforce services.

Unfortunately, I am not able to post original paintings framed with glass at the present time.

Click and Collect available for all items. If you would like to use this service please contact me.

Returns

I want you, my customers, to be happy with your purchase so I will offer a full refund/exchange if your order arrives damaged. Return the unopened item in its original packaging back to me, whereupon I will refund the postage. If you decide to change your mind about your order, then return the item to me and I will refund you, however I will not be able to refund the return postage in this instance. Please contact me within 14 days of receipt of your order if you require a refund in any of these circumstances. I strongly advise that any items are returned by registered post and you obtain proof of posting, otherwise I cannot accept responsibility for any items lost or damaged in transit. I will process all refunds within 7 days of receipt of returned items.

 

Website

Here at Charlotte Thompson Art I do my best to ensure the site is up to date.  Photographs and descriptions (including size) of my products are as accurate as possible and I reserve the right to make changes. Price and availability of products are subject to change without notice. All artwork is copyright of Charlotte Thompson Art and I reserve the right to keep digital copies of paintings for use in printed cards and other merchandise.

 

Privacy Policy, Law and Contract

If you have subscribed to my mailing list I may send you offers from my shop, news and other updates. You can unsubscribe from my mailing list by contacting me at admin@charlottethompsonart.co.uk. Your email address will never be passed on to any other third party, business or organisation.

I may pass on data if I am required to do so by law enforcement agencies.

I will need your personal data to fulfil contractual obligations, so that I can send out deliveries of items ordered as well as communicate with customers about commissions. If a courier is required, then your address will be passed on to the courier service handling the delivery. Your payment will be processed by Stripe or PayPal.  All customer information will be kept strictly confidential on secure servers. I will not supply any information to third parties. For purchases including commissions where BACS payments are used, your details will be destroyed when the payment is complete.

Legitimate Interest

As a customer, I reserve the right to contact you regarding your purchase, to provide feedback on items and the service I have provided.  With your permission I may use your written feedback in marketing by email, website or social media.  You have the right to opt out of this and I will always check I have agreement with you before publishing your comments.

Cookies

Cookies are small pieces of data that websites store on a device. Cookies can improve your visitors’ browsing experience because they help websites remember preferences and understand how people use different features.

My website is run by Squarespace uses some necessary cookies because they allow visitors to navigate and use key features of the site. These cookies help the features of customer accounts, shopping cart, checkout, and URL redirects to work. For example, Functional and Required Cookies help these features work.

I use Squarespace Analytics to help me analyse traffic to my website.  Cookies do not give access to any personal data.  Cookies can be declined when the cookie pop up appears.


General

The Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 shall not apply to any contract between us, so that no contractual rights are conferred on third parties.  Any contract between us shall incorporate these terms and conditions and be under English law. If there is any dispute, the English Courts will have exclusive jurisdiction.

 

Your rights

You have the right

  • to request access to the personal data I hold about you, free of charge;

  • the correction of your personal data when incorrect, out of date or incomplete;

  • that your data be deleted from my records when there are no further contractual or legal obligations;

  • that I stop using your personal data for direct marketing;

  • that I stop any consent-based processing of your personal data after you withdraw that consent.
