Hello and welcome!

I am an artist and teacher, living and working in Northumberland. My work is atmospheric, colourful, whimsical and experimental; inspired by the Northumberland landscape, seasons, nature, colour and pattern. My journey is always taking me to different places and new discoveries. I am always keen to push the boundaries and find new ways of working. I sell paintings, cards, prints, and commissions and I hold workshops and offer tuition.

Learn to paint with me

I find the process of painting beneficial in many ways. It calms my mind, and quietens the noise. Playing with paint is therapy in itself and creating something unique and individual is highly rewarding. There are many techniques to learn along the way too, especially if you are keen to expand your skillset as a painter. Above all painting is fun. A highly visual, hands on experience that sparks the imagination, I find painting ignites the senses and the braincells. It allows you time for yourself, to embark on an activity that lets you explore colour, pattern and texture in exciting ways.
